Hello dear audience and welcome,
The second international accounting conference in Iran is hold by the IAA efforts.
At first, as the secretary general of IAA, I should appreciate Dr. Rahmani Fazli, the honorable CEO of the Financial Tribunal of Iran, the supporter of financial discipline, and also I should appreciate Dr. H.Kord Zanganeh the honorable CEO of Privatization Organization of Iran, and also Dear Dr. Ghalibaf Asl, and finally I should appreciate Dr. Hosseini, the Economic Minister of Iran,  and also dear Dr. Saleh Abadi, the CEO of Security and Exchange Organization of Iran who will be our guest in final ceremony .
I appreciate dear university Professors, researchers , accountants, auditors, corporate senior directors, and Certified Accountants, for being here.
I give my special thanks to accountant association of Iran.
I give my special thanks to our foreign guests.
This conference, like the last one , is unique In both aspects of qualify and quantity among all of accounting conferences.
Grandeur of the 2nd  international accounting conference is because of your existence (being) here, so this grandeur belongs to you.  Welcome to the dear audience in other halls of this center.  Simultaneously with this 750 persons in this hall, there are about 400 persons are watching performing this ceremony.
unfortunately we missed having more the 70 securities & exchange corporate and more than 300 eager persons here because of limited space.
Last year, on holding the first conference, the IAA utilized about 70% of its capacity but in this conference, we perform this one easily and without any special problem and difficulty.
We never halt in the past.
Current age is named Information Age. The information related to economic, social, political, military and cultural events and phenomena,…  and innovations are spreading throughout the world, and interested parties can easily be aware and utilize these information.
Financial information as the outputs of accounting systems is one of the main information that’s spread World Wide and is used by all.
This information provide directors and consultants in different levels, macro or micro, with accountability possibility and predispose democracy in various affairs.
Financial Information would be useful for macro and micro decision making and in small or large firms, if they are related, reliable and comparable.
Achieving this goal in financial information is entailed various countries accountants being able to share their experiences face to face, keeping in touch together , and being familiar with others view points, in addition to use the scientific references and researches results. And in this way, predispose the friendship and collaboration of accountants throughout the world. The main purpose of this conference is bedding for such transactions. I hope holding such conferences be extended and in this way Iranian accountants be able to use the view points and experiences of other accountants throughout the world and also broadcast their view points and experiences at the world scale.
IAA is absolutely a non-government organization.
Last year on such a day, we announced that IAA has 1500 members, but right now it has more than 2000 members despite so many prerequisites for becoming a member of IAA. More than 60% of  university Faculties, more than 50% of certified accountants and more than 200 senior directions of large companies and organizations had accepted as IAA members by now. During last 6 years, IAA has achieved about 90% at its predetermined goals and even in some cases it proceeds beyond the plans.
We’ll continue with much more speed.
It’s told :  “unwritten dictation has no mistakes.”
Isn’t it better to say: “Unwritten dictation is null” ?
The speed of IAA activities become more and more every year, and we go forward with high speed, regular and maybe to some extent risky. “Risky” because IAA think and act impartial. It aims Iran at first, then micro economics of Iran and then the accounting.
As IAA were in sight of other accounting organizing at initial years, now it will sight other organizations, it will do any activity that will result in improvement of accounting, even if it will be harmful to IAA.
We are going much closer to such organizations that act comprehensive and impartial, and we will keep our distance more & more with those that just follow benefits of their units. It is undoubtedly useful to accounting.
Braveness means perform.
All of us are small parts of a greater system, if we move according to the system, we have acted in the right way.
Bubbles are always scarified of the air among themselves.
As a member of IAA , I should mention some notes, the rule of “ tax on added value” is a very progressive rule but very difficult to implement. We, as accountants, must attempt to implement it accurately. Because it will result in progresses in accounting. Undoubtedly the accurate implementation of this rule will result in the financial discipline and information transparency. Is there anyone who knows that where the borders of accounting and auditing is? There are so many books, papers, researches about  “ the corporate administration system” . After 3years , primitives which do the corporate administration, should have been implemented. We can start from primitives of corporate administration that means developing auditing committee and then developing a unit by the name of internal auditing. Governmental and bourse firms and banks and other large units must develop auditing committee at the level of a  “non-obligated” member of board. Governmental firms and banks start this volunteer and are encouraged and supported by Financial Tribunal of Iran and Security and Exchange organization and central bank. If this important act is done, it transmits to the other firms. Financial discipline and supervision should be increased. Realization this, is developing auditing committee. This is the first step to implementation the corporate administration system.
And at the end
About accounting standards in 2 sentences with deep concept: “Iranian accounting standards should be reinforced. ” and the most important “It should be written by accountants common language and Persian rich literature ”.
And finally, many people helped us in holding accounting 2nd international conference whom will be appreciated oral tomorrow afternoon. Such a conference with this width has got mistakes, hope to apologize us.

The first international accounting conference in Iran was inaugurated on Thursday and Friday  by  effort of the IAA with the  presence of domestic and foreign experts in the IRIB int'l conference center and held various topics in it

According to our reporter based on the results of a poll  between  more than 1000  members of the IAA , before holding the conference was done, the newspaper was selected as superior to the category of  accounting and information in this profession

Also in this conference  Dr. Ali Saghafi , Professor. Mostafa alimadad and Dr. Mohammad namazi were appreciated  as Accounting celebrities
